This display piece is made from fused glass and copper foil. The copper foil, when fused with specific types of glass makes a reaction, turning the foil either red or deep blue/black. This piece depicts a mermaid , fish, sea weed and anemones. The foil was cut using individual die cuts. The piece measures 7-inches by 7-inches square. Blue streaky glass was used to create a feeling of being under water in the ocean.
